The confluence
The Mambéré and Kadéï rivers join here to form the Sangha. On the poster the junction becomes the natural focal point, two lines merging into one.

关于地图
Nola Map Poster & Print
Nola sits where the Mambéré and Kadéï rivers join to form the Sangha, and from above that meeting is the first thing you see. Water lines arrive from two directions and leave as one broader channel heading south. The town fills the ground beside the confluence, with a modest street network that thins quickly into tracks and clearings.
As the capital of the Sangha-Mbaéré prefecture, Nola is a river town in the most literal sense. For a long time the Sangha was a working route through the forests of the southwest, and the settlement grew facing the water rather than any road. On a map the riverbanks are drawn with more care than anything else, and the town reads as a small cluster of lines leaning toward them.
A Nola map poster keeps that relationship simple. Rivers become calm black curves, streets become fine strokes, and the surrounding forest becomes open white space. The result is spare and quiet, a portrait of a place defined by where water decided to meet. It suits anyone with ties to the region or a fondness for maps where geography does most of the talking.

Riverside town
The built-up area hugs the banks, so the street grid stays close to the water and fades out quickly as you move inland.
Open surroundings
Beyond the town the map empties out. In black and white that emptiness becomes generous negative space that frames the rivers and streets.

为什么选 Nola
一张有意义的地图
People hang Nola because it marks a specific point on a long river journey, a place where work, family or travel once led them. The confluence gives the print a clear shape that holds up on a wall without needing labels.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, adding a date or a name, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Sand both suit the flowing river lines well.
