关于地图
Oqtosh Map Poster & Print
Oqtosh lies in Samarqand Region of Uzbekistan, in the Zarafshan valley, the long irrigated corridor that runs between Samarkand and Bukhara. The name means white stone in Uzbek. The valley has been farmed for centuries, and its landscape is shaped by the river and by the canals that carry its water out across the plain.
On a map, the town appears as a cluster of streets set among cultivated fields, with irrigation channels and field boundaries forming long lines across the surrounding land. Main roads link Oqtosh to other towns along the valley, running roughly parallel to the course of the river.
An Oqtosh map poster shows how water organises life in Central Asian oases. The town's streets, the network of canals and the field patterns all combine into a detailed but calm composition. In a minimalist style, the valley's structure is clearer than on any conventional map.

为什么选 Oqtosh
一张有意义的地图
A map of Oqtosh is a quiet reminder of home for anyone from the Zarafshan valley, and an interesting print for those drawn to the old trade routes of Central Asia. Its lines have a calm, almost textile quality.
Personalise the title and subtitle, in Latin or Cyrillic script, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 files or order a matte print.
