关于地图
Perico Map Poster & Print
Perico is a municipality in the eastern part of Matanzas Province, in the level agricultural country of central-western Cuba. From above the town shows the regular pattern common to many Cuban provincial towns: straight streets crossing at right angles and forming even blocks. Fields press close on every side, so the built area stands out as a clear rectangle on open ground.
The surrounding land has long been worked for sugar cane and other crops, and railways were laid across the region to carry the harvest. That history can still be read in the map, where tracks and roads run straight across the plain and settlements sit at regular intervals along them. Perico is one of these rail-and-farm towns.
A Perico map poster makes the most of the order in its streets. The grid fills the centre with fine repeated lines, the railway cuts a firm stroke through the frame, and the roads out of town fade into fields. It is a simple, balanced composition that says a lot about how the Cuban interior was settled.

Railway line
A rail line crosses the area in a long straight stroke, a reminder of the tracks laid through Matanzas to serve the sugar economy.
Open farmland
Flat cultivated land surrounds the town, leaving plenty of empty space around the grid and giving the poster a clean, uncluttered frame.

为什么选 Perico
一张有意义的地图
Perico is a meaningful choice for Cuban families and for anyone with roots in Matanzas. A map of a small hometown often means more than any skyline, and the ordered grid makes a calm, graphic image.
Add your family name, a year or a personal line to the title, subtitle and coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir shows the grid as pale lines on a dark ground, which suits modern interiors.
