Newer residential areas follow straight roads and rectangular plots, forming neat patches that sit alongside the more irregular lanes of the older settlement.

关于地图
Periya Semūr Map Poster & Print
Periya Semūr lies on the north-western edge of Erode in Tamil Nadu, and for most purposes it now functions as part of the wider city. The map shows a mix of older residential lanes and newer layouts, with plots arranged along straight roads that were laid out as the town expanded. Beyond them, fields and scattered houses mark the transition from urban blocks to open land.
Erode is one of the major textile and turmeric trading centres of southern India, and the Kaveri River flows along the city's eastern side. Periya Semūr shares in that growth: roads here lead toward the centre of Erode and out to neighbouring towns, and the street pattern becomes denser each year as new housing fills the gaps between existing streets.
A Periya Semūr map poster is a record of a place in transition, where a village pattern is gradually absorbed into a larger town. It suits families who have lived here for generations as well as those who have recently moved in, and it can be framed to include the adjoining parts of Erode for more context.

Link to Erode

Farmland edge
On the outer side, cultivated fields and scattered buildings take over, leaving lighter areas that give the poster room and mark the edge of the town.
