关于地图
Pirkkala Map Poster & Print
Pirkkala lies in the Pirkanmaa region of Finland, immediately south-west of Tampere. It borders Lake Pyhäjärvi, one of the large lakes around Tampere, and on a map its shoreline is irregular, with bays, headlands and small islands. Much of the municipality combines residential areas with forest and water.
The main built-up area has grown as a suburb of Tampere, with residential streets forming loops and cul-de-sacs among trees rather than straight blocks. Tampere-Pirkkala Airport lies within the municipality, and its runway forms a long straight line through the forest, one of the few geometric features on the map.
A Pirkkala map poster is typical of Finnish geography: water, forest and people living between them. In black and white, the lake shapes and the curving roads create a soft, open composition, with the airport runway providing a single sharp line.

Airport runway
The runway of Tampere-Pirkkala Airport cuts straight through the forest, contrasting strongly with the winding roads and shoreline.
Forest suburbs
Residential streets loop among wooded areas, giving the built-up parts of the map a loose, organic pattern.

为什么选 Pirkkala
一张有意义的地图
Pirkkala residents value the lake, forest and closeness to Tampere, and a map poster keeps all three in view. It can mark a family home, a summer shore or a first flight from the local airport.
Customise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with names or dates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows off the lake especially well.
