关于地图
Prescot Map Poster & Print
Prescot is a historic market town in Merseyside, a few miles east of Liverpool. Its centre sits on higher ground, and from above the old core stands out as a compact knot of narrow streets around the parish church, surrounded by later housing estates and the lines of major roads. The M57 passes to the west, and the extensive grounds of Knowsley Park lie just to the north.
Prescot has a long history of watchmaking and clock-making, and for generations was a centre of precision craft; the town's museum tells that story. More recently it has become known for the Shakespeare North Playhouse, opened in 2022, which draws on Prescot's claim to have had one of the earliest purpose-built playhouses outside London. A Prescot map poster frames all of this in one tight street plan.
The town's shape is defined by its edges: dense streets in the centre, the sweeping curves of motorway junctions, and the large green expanse of the neighbouring estate. It is a small place, but the map feels layered, combining a medieval street core, industrial terraces and twentieth-century road planning in a single frame.

Knowsley Park
The vast estate to the north appears as a large open area, giving the poster a strong area of calm next to the town.
Motorway curves
The M57 and its junctions add sweeping, engineered curves along the western side, framing the town's older street pattern.

为什么选 Prescot
一张有意义的地图
People hang a Prescot map because they grew up there, work there, or have family ties to the town's watchmaking past. It makes a thoughtful gift for theatre lovers who remember a night at the playhouse, too.
The poster can carry a custom title, subtitle and coordinates line, in one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order a $9 HD digital set or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
