关于地图
Rājpīpla Map Poster & Print
Rājpīpla is the headquarters of Narmada district in south-eastern Gujarat and was once the capital of the princely state of the same name. It lies on the Karjan River, a tributary of the Narmada, with forested hills rising to the south and east. On the map the old town is dense and irregular, while newer areas spread along roads away from the river.
The town is known for the palaces built by its former rulers, which remain among its most recognisable buildings. Narmada district as a whole has become widely known in recent years as the home of the Statue of Unity at Kevadia, and the surrounding hills, forests and tribal villages give the area a character quite different from the plains of central Gujarat.
A Rājpīpla map poster shows the winding lanes of the old town, the curve of the Karjan River and the roads leading out towards the hills. It is a map with history in its lines, a fitting piece for anyone born here or with family ties to this corner of Gujarat.

Old town lanes
The historic core is a tight, irregular network of narrow streets, the most intricate part of the poster and a trace of the princely capital.
Hill country edge
Forested hills rise beyond the town, and the open space around the streets reflects the green, rolling landscape of Narmada district.
