关于地图
Rāwatbhāta Map Poster & Print
Rāwatbhāta lies in the Chittorgarh district of southern Rajasthan, beside the deep gorge of the Chambal River. The town grew around two large engineering projects: the Rana Pratap Sagar dam, which holds back a large reservoir on the Chambal, and the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station, one of India's nuclear power plants.
The map reflects that history. Much of the town is made up of planned residential colonies for plant and project staff, with orderly roads, loops and sector-style blocks. They contrast with the older, more irregular settlement nearby. The river, the reservoir and the rocky plateau around them take up much of the frame.
A Rāwatbhāta map poster is a portrait of an infrastructure town: a large reservoir, the line of the dam, the curving river below and neat housing sectors on the higher ground. For families who lived in the colonies, the layout is often remembered street by street.

Chambal gorge
Below the dam, the river runs through a deep, winding channel cut into the plateau, a strong natural line beside the town.
Planned colonies
Staff housing for the power station and dam projects was built in orderly colonies with regular streets and loops, clearly different from the older settlement.

为什么选 Rāwatbhāta
一张有意义的地图
Rāwatbhāta is often a childhood town for families of engineers and plant staff who later moved all over India. The poster brings back the colony, the school roads and the reservoir in one clear image.
Add your colony name, a year or coordinates in the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters are available with an optional wooden frame.
