The aluminium works
Hindalco's plant occupies a large area of the map. Its broad, simple footprint anchors the composition and explains why the town grew here.

关于地图
Renukūt Map Poster & Print
Renukūt lies in Sonbhadra district, in the far southeast of Uttar Pradesh, where the plains give way to wooded hills near the borders of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. It is an industrial town, best known for the aluminium plant of Hindalco, founded in the early 1960s, and its map reflects that purpose clearly: planned colony roads, a large industrial site and scattered villages.
The Rihand Dam and its large reservoir, Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar, lie a short distance away, and power from that area helped make Renukūt an industrial centre. Within the town, residential colonies follow gentle curves and loops, markets cluster along the main roads, and the hills around it break the settlement into separate pockets.
A Renukūt map poster shows a planned company town in an unusual setting. The regular colony layouts contrast with the looser roads of the older settlements and the irregular terrain. For families who lived and worked in the township, often for decades, it is a precise reminder of a very particular place.

Colony layouts
Staff colonies were planned with orderly roads, loops and green spaces, forming the most regular street patterns in the town and clear, well-proportioned shapes on the poster.
Hills and reservoir
Low hills surround Renukūt, and the Rihand reservoir lies nearby. The terrain keeps the settlement compact and gives the edges of the map an irregular, natural outline.

为什么选 Renukūt
一张有意义的地图
Many people have a strong attachment to Renukūt because of years spent in its colonies, schools and workplaces. A map of the township is a quiet way to remember that shared life, especially for those who have since moved elsewhere.
Name the print after your colony or add the years you lived there, change the subtitle and coordinates, and choose one of five styles. The digital version costs $9 and includes six print sizes in PNG and PDF, without a watermark.
