The northern shore
The lake's curving northern edge sweeps across the map, drawn as a single clean line. The town sits against it, and the wide water to the south gives the composition generous empty space.

关于地图
Riva del Garda Map Poster & Print
Riva del Garda occupies the northernmost shore of Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake. Here the water narrows into a fjord-like arm between steep mountains. The old town lies right at the water's edge, a dense grid of lanes behind the harbour. Newer districts spread across the small plain inland, and the slopes of the surrounding mountains close off the view.
Two landmarks anchor the historic centre. The Rocca, a moated castle, sits almost in the lake, and the square Apponale tower rises above the harbour square. Just east of town, Monte Brione rises as a long, isolated ridge. The reliable winds that blow across the northern end of the lake have made Riva a centre for sailing and windsurfing.
A Riva del Garda map poster is built on the contrast between water, town and cliff. The lake takes up much of the frame as a clean, empty surface. The shoreline curves at the head of the lake, and the dense streets of the old centre sit against it. The mountains come through in how quickly the built area stops.

Castle in the water
The Rocca stands on the lakefront, surrounded by its own moat. Its compact, square footprint is one of the most recognisable shapes in the historic centre.
Monte Brione
East of the town, the long ridge of Monte Brione rises between Riva and Torbole. On the map, the roads and paths bend around it and the built-up area ends abruptly at its base.

为什么选 Riva del Garda
一张有意义的地图
Riva del Garda is a place people come back to, whether for summer holidays, sailing weeks or cycling trips in the mountains. A map poster keeps the shape of the lake and town within reach, and it suits anyone who knows the northern shore well.
You can add a personal title, a subtitle such as the year of your first visit, and the coordinates. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint and Sand in particular bring out the lake.
