关于地图
São Martinho Map Poster & Print
São Martinho covers the western side of Funchal, the capital of Madeira. It runs from the sea cliffs of the south coast up steep slopes toward the island's volcanic interior. On a map, its streets rarely run straight. They switch back and forth across the hillside and follow the contours between deep ravines, called ribeiras, that carry water down to the Atlantic.
Near the coast, the parish includes much of the hotel zone and the Lido area, with the Estrada Monumental running parallel to the sea. Higher up, the streets become houses among terraced gardens and banana plots. Toward the western edge, near Praia Formosa, the cliffs open onto one of the larger stretches of pebble shore on the island's south coast.
A São Martinho map poster turns this vertical landscape into a flat, legible drawing. Tight bends and dense coastal blocks give way to scattered buildings on the upper slopes. The ravines form dark diagonal seams across the print, and the ocean makes a clean, empty field along the bottom.

Deep stream valleys cut down toward the Atlantic, dividing the parish into ridges and leaving narrow, unbuilt seams in the street network.
Western coastline
Cliffs, the Lido area and the shore near Praia Formosa form a rugged edge between the dense coastal blocks and the open ocean.

为什么选 São Martinho
一张有意义的地图
São Martinho is where many visitors to Madeira stay, and where many Madeirans live above the sea. A print of its slopes is a lasting reminder of a holiday, a honeymoon or a family home on the island.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with the name of a street or the date of a stay. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
