Planned residential grid
The centre is laid out in regular blocks of mid-rise housing separated by straight streets, a pattern typical of Soviet-era mining towns, which comes out clearly in black and white.

关于地图
Selydove Map Poster & Print
Selydove sits in the western part of Donetsk region, in open steppe country shaped by more than a century of coal mining. From above, the town reads as a planned settlement. Straight streets and rows of apartment blocks form a mostly regular grid, and private houses with long garden plots spread out towards the fields on the edges.
Like many Donbas towns, Selydove grew around its mines. Its economy, housing and road layout all followed the coal industry, and the flat-topped waste heaps typical of the region still break up the surrounding farmland. Roads leave the town in several directions towards neighbouring mining communities, so on a map it looks like one node in a wider industrial network.
The war has hit the town hard in recent years, and many people now remember it from a distance. A Selydove map poster keeps the street pattern as it was drawn, with the blocks, the lanes of houses and the roads out to the steppe. It is a quiet record of a place that many families still call home.

Garden-plot outskirts
Around the core, narrow lanes of private houses with long back gardens give the edges of the map a finer, striped texture that contrasts with the larger blocks in the centre.
Steppe and roads
Open farmland surrounds the town on all sides, and the roads to neighbouring communities cross it in long, nearly straight lines that frame the settlement on the poster.

为什么选 Selydove
一张有意义的地图
For people from Selydove, and for their families abroad, the street plan carries memories of schools, courtyards and walks home. A map keeps that geography intact and gives it a calm, dignified place on the wall.
You can add a personal title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room.
