关于地图
Sengkang Map Poster & Print
Sengkang is the main town of Wajo Regency in South Sulawesi, and on a map it is defined by its closeness to Lake Tempe, a broad, shallow lake in the lowlands of the province. The town sits near the lake's edge, and river channels connect the water to the surrounding plains, giving the map a strong sense of wet, low-lying ground.
Lake Tempe is known for its floating houses and for the fishing communities who live and work on it, while Sengkang itself has a long reputation for silk weaving, with Sengkang silk recognised across Indonesia. The town's streets form a fairly compact network, with the river and the lake shaping where it can expand.
A Sengkang map poster brings that landscape into focus: the curve of the waterways, the dense town grid and the open plains beyond. It is a simple composition, but one closely tied to the water that supports daily life here.
