关于地图
Sidi Amar Map Poster & Print
Sidi Amar lies a short distance southwest of Annaba in northeastern Algeria, on the flat lowland that stretches inland from the coast. On the map, it looks like a patchwork of building types. There are blocks of apartment estates, lower streets of houses, main roads that link it to Annaba and nearby towns, and farmland along the edges that has been gradually built over.
The commune borders El Hadjar, home to the large steel complex that has shaped the local economy for decades, and many of its neighbourhoods grew up alongside that industrial development. Its position between the coastal city and the farmland of the Seybouse plain has made it a place of fast residential growth.
A Sidi Amar map poster shows a suburb still being put together. Regular grids of new housing sit beside older, less even streets, and wide roads cross the frame in long straight lines. Stepping back, the flat terrain and the edges of open farmland give the drawing space to breathe around the built-up areas.
