关于地图
Sivagiri Map Poster & Print
Sivagiri is a town in southern Tamil Nadu, in the Tenkasi area, near the eastern foothills of the Western Ghats. The land around it is mostly farmland, with water tanks, irrigated fields and groves, while the hills rise to the west. From above, the town appears as a compact cluster of lanes and streets, with roads running out to villages across the plain.
Sivagiri has long served as a local centre for the surrounding countryside and was historically the seat of a zamindari estate. Temples and markets remain focal points of town life, and the town's rhythms are closely tied to farming.
A Sivagiri map poster shows the town between plain and mountain. The street pattern is dense at the centre and thins out toward the edges, and the roads lead toward the hills on one side and the open country on the other. In monochrome it makes a calm, grounded composition.

Ghats foothills
West of the town, the land rises toward the Western Ghats. Roads and tracks in that direction thin out as the terrain climbs.
Tanks and fields
Irrigation tanks and farmland cover the plain around Sivagiri. They give the poster wide areas of open space around the settlement.
