Cerro Evermann
The volcano at the island's centre shapes everything around it. On the map, ridges and valleys spread outward from the summit in every direction toward the coast.

关于地图
Socorro Island Map Poster & Print
Socorro is the largest of the Revillagigedo Islands, far out in the Pacific southwest of the Baja California peninsula. It is a volcanic island, and from above its shape reflects that: a broad central summit, Cerro Evermann, with ridges and lava flows running down toward a rugged, uneven coastline.
There are no towns. The only permanent presence is a Mexican naval station on the southern coast, whose small cluster of buildings and tracks is the sole built detail on the map. The rest of the island is scrub, rock and slopes shaped by eruptions, the most recent in the 1990s offshore.
The Revillagigedo archipelago is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a protected marine park, known among divers for giant manta rays, sharks and humpback whales. A Socorro Island map poster presents a raw volcanic outline surrounded by open ocean, with almost nothing man-made to interrupt it.

Naval station
A small Mexican navy base on the south coast is the island's only settlement. Its few buildings and tracks form the one compact knot of lines on the poster.
Protected waters
The ocean around Socorro is part of a large marine park. On paper it is open water, but divers know it for mantas, sharks and whales.

为什么选 Socorro Island
一张有意义的地图
Socorro is a bucket-list destination for divers, reached only after a long boat crossing. The map is a fitting keepsake of that journey, and its bare volcanic outline has a strong graphic presence on any wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with the name of your dive boat and the trip dates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir suits the volcanic character.
