关于地图
Surulere Map Poster & Print
Surulere is one of the best-known districts on the Lagos mainland, and it is densely built from edge to edge. Its map is a close weave of residential streets organized around a few major roads and busy junctions. Ojuelegba is one of the most recognized crossroads in the city. From above, the pattern looks almost uniform, broken only by a handful of large open sites.
The largest of these open sites is the National Stadium complex, which hosted major national and international events for decades. The Teslim Balogun Stadium stands nearby. Surulere has long been associated with sport, entertainment and music, and it features often in Nigerian songs and films as a shorthand for mainland Lagos life.
A Surulere map poster turns that density into texture. Fine lines of streets fill the sheet, with stadium grounds, expressways and rail lines cutting clear shapes through them. It is a portrait of a neighbourhood more than a city, and it resonates with anyone who knows its roads by name.

Ojuelegba junction
A famous crossroads where major roads meet. It is well known across Nigeria and marks one of the district's main points of movement.
Residential grid
Hundreds of short, closely spaced streets fill the district. They create an even, finely detailed pattern that looks striking on large prints.

为什么选 Surulere
一张有意义的地图
Surulere is where many Lagosians grew up, played football or first found their feet in the city. A map of it works as an honest piece of home for someone in London, Houston or elsewhere on the mainland.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, a street name or year for instance, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the dense grid look especially graphic.
