关于地图
Tres Arroyos Map Poster & Print
Tres Arroyos lies in the south of Buenos Aires province, on the flat, open pampas between the Atlantic coast and the interior. Its name, three streams, refers to the watercourses that cross the area. From above, the city is a classic Argentine grid, with square blocks, diagonal avenues and plazas set within endless fields of grain.
The town is known for its strong Danish community, one of the largest in Argentina, established by immigrants who arrived in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Dutch settlers also played a role in its development. The partido reaches to the Atlantic at the beach town of Claromecó.
A Tres Arroyos map poster makes the most of this geometric order. The grid, the diagonals and the thin lines of the streams create a design that is both precise and calm, meaningful for families rooted in the town or its immigrant history.

The streams
Small watercourses cut across the grid, adding irregular, curving lines that break the regularity and recall the town's name.
Surrounding farmland
Large rectangular fields surround the city, their boundaries continuing the grid's order into the open agricultural landscape.
