Valley floor grid
The centre is laid out in a fairly regular grid around its main park. The flat valley floor makes the pattern tidy and easy to read.

关于地图
Turrialba Map Poster & Print
Turrialba lies in a valley on the Caribbean slope of Costa Rica's Central Volcanic Range. The volcano of the same name rises to the north. From above, the town fills the valley floor, and its streets are arranged in a loose grid around a central park. Steep, forested and farmed slopes rise on all sides, and river valleys lead away toward the lowlands.
The Reventazón and Pacuare rivers nearby have made the area well known for whitewater rafting. The town is also home to CATIE, a long-established agricultural research and education centre, whose grounds cover a large area next to town. North of Turrialba, the archaeological site of Guayabo preserves the stone roads and aqueducts of a pre-Columbian settlement.
A Turrialba map poster shows a valley town shaped by its setting. In black and white, the grid in the basin stands out against the curving roads that climb the hills and the rivers that cut through the landscape. The result has a clear centre and a lot of natural movement toward the edges of the frame.

Mountain rivers
Rivers run through the valley and down toward the Caribbean. Their winding lines contrast with the straight town streets.
Research campus
CATIE's large grounds lie beside the town. On the map they appear as a distinctive area of fields, paths and buildings.

为什么选 Turrialba
一张有意义的地图
Turrialba suits rafters, researchers and students who have spent time at CATIE, and Costa Rican families from the Cartago province. It is a map of a place many people know from a particular chapter of their lives.
You can title it as you like, add a date or a short note in the subtitle, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The files are 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs in six sizes.
