关于地图
Vénissieux Map Poster & Print
Vénissieux borders Lyon to the southeast, and on the map the two run together without a visible break. Yet the town has its own structure: an older centre on lower ground, large industrial and rail zones to the west, and residential districts rising onto a plateau to the south. Wide boulevards and fast roads tie these parts together.
The plateau of Les Minguettes is the most striking area from above. Built in the 1960s and 1970s as one of the largest housing developments in the Lyon region, it shows up as long building footprints and open ground arranged in very large blocks. It contrasts sharply with the tighter streets of the old centre below.
Vénissieux has a long industrial history, including the truck and vehicle factories Berliet established here, today part of Renault Trucks. Metro line D and a tram line link the town to central Lyon. A Vénissieux map poster shows all these layers at once: the plateau, the factories, the rail yards and the old village core.

Industrial zone
Factory sites and rail installations take up large plots, particularly in the west. They appear as broad, simplified areas crossed by long straight lines.
Metro terminus
Metro line D ends at Gare de Vénissieux, where train, tram and bus connections meet. The station area forms a clear hub linking the town to central Lyon.

为什么选 Vénissieux
一张有意义的地图
Vénissieux is home to many people who rarely see it celebrated on a wall. A map poster gives the town the same careful treatment as any historic city, which makes it meaningful for residents, former residents and people who worked in its factories.
Choose a title, a subtitle such as your neighbourhood or a year, and the coordinates line, then pick one of five styles, from Noir to Blueprint. The files cost $9 and include six sizes. You can also order a matte printed poster from partners in 30+ countries.
