关于地图
Wajima Map Poster & Print
Wajima sits on the northern coast of the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, where the land drops steeply to the Sea of Japan. From above, the town occupies a narrow band of flat ground around a river mouth and harbour, with forested hills rising directly behind. Roads follow the coast and climb into the valleys inland.
The town is famous for Wajima-nuri, a lacquerware made with many careful layers, and for its long-running morning market. Along the coast to the east, the Shiroyone Senmaida rice terraces step down toward the sea in small, curved paddies, one of the best-known landscapes in the region.
Wajima was severely affected by the Noto earthquake of January 2024 and the fire that followed, which destroyed much of the morning market area. A Wajima map poster can hold the town's shape as people remember it and as it is being rebuilt, a coastal grid framed by harbour and hills.

Steep coastal hills
Forested slopes rise immediately behind the narrow coastal plain, confining the town and leaving large areas of open space on the map.
Senmaida terraces
East of town, small rice paddies step down a coastal slope toward the Sea of Japan, a famous landscape shaped by generations of careful farming.

For people with ties to Noto, or for anyone who admires Wajima lacquer and the town's craft tradition, this map is a quiet tribute. It suits a calm room and makes a considered gift for someone from the peninsula.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, perhaps with a family name or a date. Choose from five styles, including Paper and Noir, and select either a $9 HD download in six sizes or a finished matte print.
