Willowdale Map Poster & Print
Willowdale is a district of North York in the north of Toronto, and from above it is organised around one line: Yonge Street, running straight north from the city centre. Along that corridor, towers and civic buildings cluster around North York Centre. Beyond it, on both sides, there are quiet residential grids of houses and crescents.
The edges are shaped by water and highways. The ravines of the East and West Don River wind through the area in wooded valleys, and Highway 401 runs across its southern side. North York Centre includes Mel Lastman Square and the civic centre, and several subway stations on Line 1 make Willowdale one of the best-connected areas of the city.
