关于地图
Yingli Map Poster & Print
Yingli lies in northern Shandong, on the very flat land near the Yellow River delta, not far from the city of Dongying. From above, it follows the planned layout common in this part of China: wide, straight roads meet at right angles, large blocks hold residential compounds and public buildings, and fields and canals extend beyond the edges.
The land here is young in geological terms, built up over centuries by silt carried down by the Yellow River. It is low, level and crossed by drainage channels, and the region's development has been closely tied to farming and, more recently, to the oil industry around Dongying. The town itself is small and has few landmarks known outside the area.
A Yingli map poster is an exercise in clean geometry. The strong grid of main roads, the large rectangular blocks and the straight canals across the surrounding land give the map a calm, almost architectural feel. It suits people who like order and space in their design.

Drainage canals
Straight canals cross the low land around the town. Their long lines extend the grid outward into the fields.
Delta plain
The land is almost perfectly flat, built up by Yellow River silt. The map shows this in wide, open spaces with no hills or bends.
