Zarqān Map Poster & Print
Zarqān lies in Fars province, a short distance north-east of Shiraz, on the high plain that runs toward Marvdasht. The main road between the two passes by the town, and its long straight line is one of the first things you notice on the map. Streets branch off it into residential quarters, with orchards and fields around them.
The setting is defined by contrast between the flat, cultivated land of the basin and the bare Zagros ridges rising in the distance. As a Zarqān map poster, the town becomes a cluster of fine streets held between these broad elements. Field boundaries and irrigation lines give the margins a subtle, textured pattern.
Zarqān sits on the wider route linking Shiraz with Marvdasht and the ancient site of Persepolis beyond it, a road many visitors to the region travel. Its own streets are more modest in scale, with some irregular lanes and some straighter, regular blocks. In black and white, that mix reads clearly and calmly.
