Ribbon villages
Houses and lanes stretch along the main roads in narrow bands, a typical Javanese settlement pattern that gives the map long lines of dense detail across open farmland.

Astanajapura Map Poster & Print
Astanajapura is a district in Cirebon Regency, West Java, set on the lowlands southeast of the city of Cirebon. It is not a single compact town but a cluster of villages spread across farmland, and the map reflects that: settlements line the roads in long ribbons, with rice fields and gardens filling the spaces between them.
The landscape is shaped by agriculture and water. Irrigation channels and small rivers cross the district, feeding the paddies, and the roads tend to follow them or the edges of fields. Main roads leading out of Cirebon carry most of the traffic, and the villages gather along these corridors in a pattern common across the Javanese lowlands.
An Astanajapura map poster shows a place defined by rhythm rather than a single centre. In black and white, the thin lines of village streets and field boundaries create a fine, textured surface, with clusters of houses appearing as denser knots. It is an understated map, well suited to anyone with family roots in the Cirebon region.

Rice field texture
Between the villages, fields divided by small paths and channels create a quiet, even pattern, the background against which the settlements stand out.
Waterways
Small rivers and irrigation canals thread through the district, adding gently curving lines that break up the straighter roads and field edges.
