Bambanglipuro Map Poster & Print
Bambanglipuro is a district in Bantul regency, on the low plain between Yogyakarta and the Indian Ocean. It is less a single town than a scatter of villages. On the map, clusters of houses and lanes sit among a wide spread of rice fields, joined by straight rural roads. Irrigation channels run between the paddies, and the land stays flat almost to the southern coast.
The Bantul plain is fed by rivers flowing south from the slopes of Mount Merapi, and it is one of the most productive farming areas around Yogyakarta. Village life here follows the rhythm of the rice seasons. The district's roads connect it northward to the city and southward to the beaches on the Java coast.
A Bambanglipuro map poster has a gentle, rural pattern. Village clusters appear as small dense patches, the rice fields as broad, lightly lined areas, and the roads as threads that tie everything together. In black and white, it looks almost like a woven textile, quiet and even, and personal for anyone with roots in Bantul.

Rice field pattern
Paddies cover much of the map, divided by narrow paths and irrigation channels. They create a fine, regular texture across the flat plain.
Roads to coast and city
Straight roads run north toward Yogyakarta and south toward the Indian Ocean. They give the scattered composition a clear sense of direction.
