Palm grove
The oasis gardens follow the course of the wadi in a long, dense band, the richest texture on the map and the reason the town exists.

Brezina Map Poster & Print
Brezina is in El Bayadh Province in western Algeria, where the Saharan Atlas gives way to the desert. It is an oasis settlement: the town grew up beside a wadi, and the palm grove along the watercourse is its lifeline. From above, the green belt of the grove sits sharply against the bare land around it.
The built-up area is compact. Older lanes lie close to the palms, and newer, more regular streets extend outwards. Roads run off across the open terrain towards other settlements in the province. A dam upstream holds water for the oasis, part of the careful water management that keeps the palms alive.
A Brezina map poster is about contrast: a dense, organic knot of town and palm grove in a wide, almost empty landscape. In monochrome that contrast is stark, and the poster shows clearly how closely settlement in this region depends on water.

Wadi course
The dry riverbed that feeds the oasis winds past the town, a pale line through the desert that carries water when rains arrive.
Open desert
Around the settlement the land is largely empty, crossed only by a few roads, so the town and grove stand out sharply.

For families from El Bayadh Province and anyone who has spent time in Algeria's desert towns, Brezina is a place defined by its oasis. A map that shows town, palms and emptiness together is a direct portrait of it.
Add a title and subtitle in the spelling you prefer, a date, and your own coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand is a natural fit for a desert oasis.
