Chambas Map Poster & Print
Chambas lies in the north of Ciego de Ávila Province, in the lowlands of central Cuba between the island's interior and its northern coast. The town is laid out as a regular grid of blocks, with the main streets forming its heart and roads leaving in several directions toward neighbouring settlements and the coast.
The surrounding countryside is agricultural, long associated with sugarcane and other crops, and appears on the map as large rectangular fields divided by farm roads. Low hills rise in parts of the wider area, and the northern coast with its offshore keys lies some distance beyond, giving the region a more varied landscape than the flat fields around town suggest.
A Chambas map poster brings out the clarity of the grid, where blocks repeat in steady rows and the main roads stand out as slightly bolder lines. It is a simple, well-balanced design, and a meaningful one for Cubans from the area, for relatives abroad and for anyone who has spent time in this part of the island.

Main roads out
Roads lead out of town toward neighbouring settlements and the coast, forming a few clear lines across the open countryside.
Cane-country fields
Large rectangular fields surround Chambas, a reminder of the sugarcane farming that has shaped this part of Cuba and a calm frame for the town.
