The river edge
The waterway runs past the town as a broad, pale band on the map, and it is the most striking element of the print.

Dibaya-Lubwe Map Poster & Print
Dibaya-Lubwe lies in Kwilu province in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in a region shaped by large rivers and the tributaries that feed them. On a map the town is a fairly small pattern of streets and tracks. The broad river, its channels and the green country around it take up much of the frame.
River traffic has long been the reason towns like this exist, since the waterways here have carried people and goods over distances that roads still struggle with. The town's layout follows that logic, with the built-up area oriented toward the water and the landing points where boats arrive.
A Dibaya-Lubwe map poster gives the river the strongest shape on the sheet. The wide band of water and its banks frame a simple street network, and the result is a spare composition that feels closer to a chart of a river passage than to a dense city plan.

Simple street pattern
Streets and tracks form a modest, open network that clearly points toward the riverbank.
Surrounding country
Beyond the town the map is mostly open land and forest, which leaves generous space around the settlement.
