The Ganges floodplain
The river spreads into several channels and sandbanks here, a broad band that changes with the seasons and takes up much of the map.

Garhmuktesar Map Poster & Print
Garhmuktesar sits near the west bank of the Ganges in the Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The map is shaped by the river: a wide, braided channel with sandbanks and floodplain that dwarfs the town beside it. Garhmuktesar's streets form a compact, irregular core, and a main highway runs out to the east, crossing the river on its way from Delhi toward Moradabad.
The town has long been a place of Hindu pilgrimage, with temples and bathing ghats on the Ganges. Its best-known gathering is the fair held around Kartik Purnima, when large numbers of pilgrims camp by the river to bathe. For those weeks the floodplain turns into a temporary town of its own, which hints at how closely the settlement is tied to the water.
A Garhmuktesar map poster captures that pairing of river and town. The wide Ganges channel, the pale sandbars and the knot of old streets make a composition that feels open and grounded at once. It is a meaningful print for families with roots in the area and for anyone who has made the journey to bathe here.

Highway bridge
A major road crosses the Ganges near the town, drawing a straight, deliberate line over the loose shapes of the riverbed.
Old town core
Garhmuktesar's centre is a tight cluster of lanes that grew around its temples and ghats, easy to pick out against the open land around it.
