Horizon Hills is a planned residential township in Iskandar Puteri, southern Johor, within the development corridor that faces Singapore across the Strait of Johor. It was conceived as a golf-oriented community. On a map, the fairways of its golf course take up a large share of the area, with housing arranged in precincts around them.
The street pattern is suburban and deliberate throughout. Loop roads run through each precinct, cul-de-sacs branch off them, and landscaped buffers separate one enclave from the next. Unlike the grids of older Malaysian towns, almost nothing here runs straight for long, so black and white produces soft, flowing curves wrapped around generous open space.
