Jatibonico Map Poster & Print
Jatibonico lies in the east of Sancti Spíritus province, close to the border with Camagüey. The Carretera Central, the long highway that runs the length of Cuba, passes through the town and forms the strongest line on the map. Most of the streets are arranged on a grid along it, typical of Cuban provincial towns that grew up beside the main road.
The town's history is tied to sugar. A large sugar mill defined the local economy for generations, and on the map railway lines, industrial buildings and fields of cane surround the residential blocks. The river that shares the town's name runs nearby and has long been used as a rough boundary between the provinces in this part of the island.
A Jatibonico map poster shows this working landscape in a clean form: an orderly grid, the highway running straight through, and the looser shapes of the mill area and farmland around them. It is a map for people who know the town from the road, the sugar harvest or family roots.

Sugar mill district
Industrial buildings and railway spurs linked to sugar production form a larger, less regular area beside the residential blocks.
Jatibonico River
The river flows near the town and marks the edge of the province in this area, adding a winding line to the flat terrain.

Many people pass through Jatibonico on the Carretera Central, but for those who grew up here the map shows the streets of home around the mill. A plain print keeps attention on the grid and the road.
