A tight cluster of lanes and small buildings forms the centre, the darkest and most intricate part of the poster.

Kemrī Map Poster & Print
Kemrī is a town in Rampur district, Uttar Pradesh, on the fertile plain of Rohilkhand south of the Himalayan foothills. The land is flat and intensively farmed, and the map shows it immediately. A dense core of lanes and houses sits in the middle, and everything around it is a closely divided pattern of fields, paths and irrigation channels.
Roads lead out of town towards nearby villages and the district headquarters. Along them, buildings continue a short way before giving way to farmland. Small ponds and water tanks appear as scattered shapes, typical of settlements on this plain. The overall pattern is of a place that grew slowly and organically rather than according to a plan.
The Kemrī map poster presents this rural landscape in line and texture: a dark, detailed centre, a few strong roads and a wide surrounding field of small plots. It is a restrained, honest image of a town on the Gangetic plain, and it carries real weight for people who grew up there or whose families still farm the land.

Field mosaic
Small, irregular farm plots spread in every direction across the flat plain, creating a fine and even texture around the town.
Ponds and tanks
Village ponds and water tanks appear as small open shapes among the fields and houses, adding quiet accents to the dense pattern.
