Road corridor
The main road between Gorgan and the Caspian ports passes through town. It gives the map a strong spine, with the smaller residential streets branching away on either side.

Kord Kūy Map Poster & Print
Kord Kūy sits in western Golestan, on the narrow strip of lowland between the Alborz mountains and the southeastern shore of the Caspian Sea. From above, the town is a dense core with the main road between Gorgan and the coast running through it. Around that core is a looser fringe of houses, orchards and field boundaries. To the south the street pattern thins quickly as the ground rises toward wooded slopes.
The surrounding plain is heavily farmed, and on a map that shows up as a fine mesh of lanes and field lines rather than empty space. Northwest of the town the land flattens toward Gorgan Bay and the long Miankaleh peninsula, one of the better-known wetland landscapes of the Caspian coast. Flat, ordered farmland meets an irregular mountain edge, which gives the composition a clear horizon line.
A Kord Kūy map poster works best at a scale that keeps both edges in view: the compact centre, the road corridor running east to west, and the change in texture where cultivated land gives way to forest. In black and white, the density of the older streets stands out against the pattern of fields, and the mountain front becomes a soft, broken border along the bottom of the frame.

Alborz foothills
South of the built-up area the streets fade out as the terrain climbs into forested slopes, a clean natural edge that frames the town from below.
Toward Gorgan Bay
Not far to the northwest the plain meets the sheltered waters of Gorgan Bay. On wider crops it shows as a smooth shoreline set against the farmland.

For people from Kord Kūy or elsewhere in Golestan, the plan of the town is a quiet reminder of one specific place between sea and mountains. You can add a title in your own words, a family date or the town's coordinates, so the poster reads as a personal record rather than a generic map.
Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download includes six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files without a watermark. You can also order a matte printed poster, with an optional wooden frame, from print partners in more than 30 countries.
