Atlantic shoreline
Beaches and small headlands form a long, irregular coastline. On the map this edge dominates the design and shows the town's orientation toward the sea.

Kribi Map Poster & Print
Kribi lies on Cameroon's southern coast along the Gulf of Guinea. On a map, the town runs along the shoreline, with streets arranged behind a series of beaches and headlands. The Kienké River reaches the sea near the centre, and dense tropical forest begins almost immediately inland. Roads follow the coast north and south, linking villages and beaches.
Kribi is best known for its beaches and for the Lobé Falls just south of town, where a river drops directly into the ocean, a rare sight worldwide. In recent years a deep-sea port has been built to the south, adding a large industrial area to the landscape. Fishing and tourism remain central to the town's daily life.
A Kribi map poster combines the curves of the coast, the river mouth and the forest edge. The sea takes up one side of the frame, and the town forms a narrow band along it. In black and white, the shoreline becomes a strong, flowing line that anchors the whole composition.

Kienké river mouth
The river enters the ocean near the centre of town. Its winding course and estuary add a natural break in the street pattern.
Forest edge
Behind the coast, the street network quickly gives way to forest. The sudden thinning of roads marks the transition from town to tropical landscape.
