Converging rail lines
Several railway lines meet at Kurduvādi, and on the poster their long straight and gently curving tracks cut across the street pattern, giving the map a strong structure.

Kurduvādi Map Poster & Print
Kurduvādi sits in Solapur district in southern Maharashtra, on the open, gently rolling ground of the Deccan plateau. From above, the town is compact: a close grid of lanes and small blocks in the middle, then a looser spread of houses and plots that runs out into farmland on every side.
The town is best known as a railway junction. Tracks come in from several directions and meet near the centre, and on the map they draw long, sure lines through the rounder, more irregular pattern of streets. The station yard, with its parallel sidings, is one of the clearest shapes in the whole composition.
A Kurduvādi map poster reduces all of this to line and space. Roads become fine strokes, the rail corridors become firm ones, and the fields around the edges fade into quiet white. What remains is a small town organised around movement, where the layout itself explains why the place grew where it did.

Station yard
Parallel sidings near the station form a band of closely spaced lines, a technical, almost diagrammatic shape that stands apart from the looser residential streets around it.
Plateau farmland edge
Beyond the built-up area the map opens into Deccan farmland, where scattered tracks and field roads thin out quickly and leave the town sitting in open space.

For people who grew up here, worked on the railways or passed through the junction many times, this map is a plain and honest record of a place defined by its tracks. It suits a hallway, a study or an office wall.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a family name or a year, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint works especially well with the railway lines.
