Lawas River
The river curves through the frame on its way to Brunei Bay, the strongest line on the map and the reason the town grew where it did.

Lawas Map Poster & Print
Lawas is a town in the Limbang Division at the northern tip of Sarawak, close to the borders with Sabah and Brunei. From above, the town sits along the Lawas River a short way inland from Brunei Bay, with a compact commercial centre and residential areas stretching out along the roads that follow the river and the low hills.
The river is the defining line on the map. It winds through the landscape toward the coast, with the town clustered along one bank, and smaller streams and patches of low ground break up the built area. Beyond the edges, roads thread through forest and plantation land toward the interior and the border crossings.
A Lawas map poster shows a place shaped by water and distance. The small street grid of the town centre contrasts with the sweeping curve of the river and the open land around it, and the composition reflects the town's role as a quiet hub for a remote corner of Borneo.

Town centre
A short grid of commercial streets sits near the river, the densest cluster of lines and the natural centre of the composition.
Roads inland
Routes leave town toward the Sabah border and the interior, winding through open land where the map becomes sparse and quiet.

For people from Lawas, or those who have worked in this part of Sarawak, the map is a reminder of a town far from the busier cities of Borneo. The river gives the print a calm, flowing form.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, adding a name or date. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
