Lidzbark Warmiński Map Poster & Print
Lidzbark Warmiński lies in the Warmia region of north-eastern Poland, where the Symsarna meets the Łyna. For centuries it was the seat of the prince-bishops of Warmia. Their Gothic brick castle, a square fortress around an arcaded courtyard, still sits beside the river at the edge of the old town.
On the map, the rivers shape the town. The Łyna curves around the historic core, and the Symsarna joins it close to the castle. The old town is a small, dense oval of streets with a gate on one side. Newer districts spread out on the higher ground beyond, and lakes and woodland lie around the edges.
Nicolaus Copernicus lived here in his early career as secretary and physician to his uncle, the bishop, and the poet-bishop Ignacy Krasicki later lived in the castle. A Lidzbark Warmiński map poster shows a town whose plan has changed little around its river bend.

River confluence
The Symsarna meets the Łyna near the historic core. The two winding lines give the composition a strong natural frame.
Old-town oval
The medieval centre is a small, tight cluster of streets with a gate on one side. It stands out clearly against the looser districts around it.

Warmia has a strong regional identity, and this map suits people from the area, admirers of Copernicus, or anyone who has stood in the castle courtyard. The river bend makes it a naturally balanced print.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, or add a date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the old-town character especially well.
