Old bazaar lanes
The historic core is a tight network of narrow streets and markets. This dense texture at the centre of the print reflects the town's role as a place of trade.

Manāsa Map Poster & Print
Manāsa is a town in Neemuch district, in the north-western corner of Madhya Pradesh, close to the border with Rajasthan. It lies on the Malwa plateau, a broad upland of fertile black soil, and the land around it is flat and intensively farmed. From above, the town forms a compact cluster of streets surrounded by a patchwork of fields.
The Neemuch and Mandsaur area is one of the few parts of India where licensed opium poppy cultivation takes place. Farmers here also grow crops such as soybean, wheat and garlic. Manāsa is a local market and administrative centre, and roads from nearby villages converge on its bazaar streets.
A Manāsa map poster shows the dense grain of the old town, where lanes are narrow and closely packed, alongside newer streets and the long, straight roads that lead out across the plateau. Seasonal streams and the pattern of cultivated plots beyond add a few softer shapes to an otherwise orderly landscape.

Converging roads
Roads from surrounding villages and district towns meet at Manāsa. They draw straight lines across the plateau toward the centre of the composition.
Malwa farmland
Flat, cultivated land surrounds the town on all sides. Divided into fields, it appears on the map as a calm, open setting around the streets.

For families from Manāsa who now live in Indore, Mumbai or abroad, a precise map of the home town is a personal and unusual keepsake. It also suits anyone connected to the farming communities of the Malwa region.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a family name, a wedding date or a mohalla, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand brings out the warmth of the plateau.
