Mendez-Nuñez Map Poster & Print
Mendez-Nuñez is a small town in the uplands of Cavite, on higher, cooler ground not far from Tagaytay. From above it looks less like a city and more like a network. A few main roads carry most of the traffic, and short streets and barangay roads branch off among farms, orchards and wooded ravines.
The town is named after Casto Méndez Núñez, a Spanish naval officer of the nineteenth century. Today it is mostly residential and agricultural. It sits between the busy lowlands of Cavite and the ridge country to the south.
A Mendez-Nuñez map poster brings out that open, rural pattern. It shows a small centre, a few long connecting roads and lots of white space where the land is farmed or wooded. It is a quiet, sparse design that suits a minimal room.

Upland terrain
Ravines and slopes break up the land. Roads have to bend around them, which gives the network a natural, uneven rhythm.
Rural space
Farmland and trees fill much of the frame. Together they make a light, airy composition around the small town centre.
