Roads between hills
Main routes curve around rocky rises rather than cutting straight across them, so the street network forms loose loops and branches that follow the shape of the ground.

Ogaminana Map Poster & Print
Ogaminana lies in Kogi State in central Nigeria, in the rocky upland country of the Ebira people, not far from the town of Okene. From above, the settlement spreads along roads that wind between hills and patches of farmland. Neighbourhoods gather around junctions rather than on a grid, and the result is an organic, branching pattern that follows the terrain closely.
Like much of the region, the town combines older family compounds with newer streets added as the population grew. Minor roads and paths link it to neighbouring communities, so the edges of the built-up area often blur into the next settlement. Open land, cultivated plots and exposed rock fill the spaces between, giving the map a rhythm of dense clusters and empty ground.
An Ogaminana map poster offers a portrait of a place rarely seen in print: a Nigerian hill town drawn through its lines of movement. In monochrome the winding roads and irregular blocks read almost like a hand drawing, and they show how the town has grown with the land rather than against it. For anyone with roots here, it is a very personal map.

Clustered neighbourhoods
