Oyam Map Poster & Print
Oyam lies in Moyen-Ogooué province in central Gabon, just south of the equator. This part of the country belongs to the wide basin of the Ogooué, Gabon's largest river system. The land is heavily forested, crossed by streams and wetlands, and settlements tend to line up along the few roads and waterways that link them.
Little is widely documented about the town itself, so its map speaks mostly through geography. Streets gather in a compact cluster, and the main routes leave it in just a few directions. Around them lie large areas with no drawn roads at all. That emptiness is part of the picture, the space held by forest, water and slope in the equatorial interior.
An Oyam map poster works as a study in scale. A small grid of streets sits among broad blank ground, with thin roads and waterways reaching out to the edges of the frame. The effect is sparse and calm. It suits anyone who knows the place, and anyone who likes maps that show how much of the world remains lightly settled.

Roads through forest
A handful of roads extend outward from the settlement, appearing as long single lines that cross large areas where the map shows no other development.
Ogooué basin waters
The area sits within the Ogooué river system, and nearby watercourses add irregular natural lines that contrast with the straighter tracks of the roads.

For people from Moyen-Ogooué, or who have lived and worked in central Gabon, this map is a rare personal record of a place that seldom appears on printed maps. Its restraint makes it feel honest rather than decorative.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, adding a family name, a village or a year. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit your space.
