Bah Bolon
The river loops through the city in wide curves, a soft line that contrasts with the tighter grid of the commercial centre around it.

Pematangsiantar Map Poster & Print
Pematangsiantar sits on an upland plateau in North Sumatra, on the road between Medan and Lake Toba. Its commercial centre is a tight grid of shophouse streets, and the rest of the city extends outward along main roads into residential areas. The Bah Bolon river winds through, cutting a green line across the pattern, and beyond the edges lie estates of oil palm, rubber and tea.
It is one of the larger cities in North Sumatra and has a milder climate than the coast. The city is known for the becak Siantar, motorised rickshaws built around old BSA motorcycles, which have become a local emblem. For many travellers it is also the last sizeable town before the road descends to Parapat and Lake Toba.
A Pematangsiantar map poster shows a real highland town rather than a suburb, with its own centre, river and surrounding plantations. Digital HD files are $9 for six print sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36″, each as a 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.

Shophouse centre
The densest part of the map, a compact network of short blocks where shops, markets and old shophouses cluster close together.
Road to Toba
The main road south-west toward Lake Toba leaves the city as a clear line, passing into plantation country on its way down to the lake.

Siantar people carry the city's name with them, usually shortened with affection. A map poster of the city suits the student who left for Medan or Java, the family home, or anyone with a memory of riding a becak through the centre.
Add a title of your choice, a subtitle with a date or a family name, and an edited coordinates line. Five styles are available, and Blueprint or Noir suit the river and grid well, with Classic black & white, Paper and Sand as gentler options.
