Pundong Map Poster & Print
Pundong is a district in Bantul Regency, south of the city of Yogyakarta, in a landscape of rivers, rice fields and small villages. Its map is less a single town than a network of settlements. Village lanes branch from the main roads, and houses cluster in small groups separated by fields and green areas.
Rivers flowing south from the volcanic uplands toward the Indian Ocean shape the area, cutting valleys through the farmland. To the east, the land rises toward the hills of Gunungkidul. On a map, the result is a soft pattern of winding roads following the terrain, rather than any clear grid.
A Pundong map poster shows this rural texture in fine detail: village clusters, river bends and roads threading between rice fields. It is a gentle, open map, very different from dense city posters, and it suits anyone with family ties to the countryside around Yogyakarta.

Village clusters
Instead of a single centre, the map shows many small groups of houses linked by narrow lanes, the pattern of rural Java.
Rising to the east
Toward the east the ground climbs toward the Gunungkidul hills, and the roads begin to bend more tightly with the slopes.
