Qubo Saeed Khan lies in northwestern Sindh, in the farmland west of the Indus. The country is flat and heavily irrigated. From above, the town is a compact cluster of lanes and low buildings. Around it spreads a patchwork of fields divided by canals and watercourses.
The higher ground of the Kirthar range lies further west, where the plain begins to rise toward the Balochistan border. In the town's surroundings, though, the map is shaped by water management: channels, embankments and the straight tracks that follow them between villages.
