Sipitang Map Poster & Print
Sipitang lies in the southwest corner of Sabah, on the eastern shore of Brunei Bay, close to the border with Sarawak. On a map the town follows the coast. Its main road runs parallel to the waterline, and short streets run inland from the shore. Mangrove-edged river mouths break the coastline into a series of soft inlets.
Inland, the district rises through plantation and forest toward the highlands of the Borneo interior, with the Long Pasia area far to the south. The main coastal road continues south across the state line toward Lawas in Sarawak and north toward Beaufort. This makes Sipitang a waypoint on the long overland route along the west coast of Borneo.
A Sipitang map poster balances the flat, open water of the bay against the fine grain of the town. There is a clean coastal edge, a handful of streets and the rivers winding in from the hills. It is a quiet composition with plenty of negative space.

River mouths
Small rivers reach the bay through mangrove-lined channels. Their meandering lines break up the coast and add organic detail to the poster.
Coastal road
The main road follows the shore toward Sarawak in one direction and Beaufort in the other. The town's streets branch from it like teeth on a comb.

Sipitang is a hometown for many Sabahans and a familiar stop for anyone who has travelled the west coast by road. A map of it, titled with a family name or the year you left, is a quiet reminder of the bay.
Blueprint and Noir make the water read strongly, and Paper and Sand give it a softer coastal feel. Classic black & white keeps everything clear. Downloads include a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for each size, with no watermark.
