Old town lanes
The core is a tight network of narrow, winding lanes. It gives the centre of the poster its fine, almost handwritten texture.

Sirsi Map Poster & Print
Sirsi lies in the Sambhal area of western Uttar Pradesh, on the level alluvial plain between the Ganges and the Ramganga. At street scale the map is dense. Narrow lanes twist and branch through the older quarter, and houses stand close together. Toward the edges the streets thin out into the geometry of farmland: straight field paths, small irrigation channels and roads heading to neighbouring villages.
The landscape here has almost no relief, so the character of the map comes from the streets rather than hills or coastlines. The town is one of many that serve the agricultural plain around them as local centres for trade, schooling and services.
A Sirsi map poster suits that density. The inner lanes turn into an intricate web of fine black lines, a pattern that seems to have grown rather than been planned. It is surrounded by the calmer, more regular grid of the fields. The print is less about landmarks and more about the texture of everyday movement through a north Indian town.

Flat alluvial plain
With no hills to shape it, the town spreads evenly across level ground. Field boundaries and tracks extend in every direction beyond the built-up area.
Village roads
Several roads leave the town toward surrounding villages and larger centres in the district, drawing long lines across the open plain.
