Lamerd Map Poster & Print
Lamerd is in the south of Fars province in Iran, in the arid country between the Zagros ranges and the Persian Gulf coast. The town occupies a plain surrounded by rugged, dry mountains, and on a map it reads as a clear, contained settlement with regional roads extending across open ground in several directions.
The surrounding area is sparsely settled, so the town stands out as a service centre for a wide district. Its streets combine an older, more irregular core with newer, straighter blocks laid out as it expanded. The absence of rivers or coastlines leaves the road network to define almost everything on the drawing.
A Lamerd map poster emphasises that clarity. The town's grid and its main axes appear as a tight cluster of lines, while the long roads leading out across the plain give the design a sense of scale. It is a quiet, graphic portrait of a desert town in southern Iran.

Regional roads
Several roads leave the town across the plain, drawn as long, clean lines that connect Lamerd to the wider south of Fars.
Newer grid blocks
Expansion areas follow straighter, more regular streets, contrasting with the less formal pattern closer to the older centre.
