Mutuáli Map Poster & Print
Mutuáli lies in the interior of Nampula province in northern Mozambique, in a landscape of open savanna, farmland and scattered granite hills. The town is small and follows its transport routes. Houses and plots line the main road and the railway, and a looser pattern of paths extends into the surrounding fields.
The railway that passes through the area is part of the corridor linking the port of Nacala on the coast with the interior and Malawi. On the map it appears as a long, steady line. A Mutuáli map poster shows how the town grew along that line, with lanes branching off from it.
Beyond the settlement, the land is crossed by footpaths, small streams and field boundaries rather than paved roads. In print, that means a strong central axis surrounded by fine, irregular lines and open space. It is a simple, honest map of a place shaped by rail and farming.

Roadside settlement
Houses and plots cluster along the main routes. On the map they form a narrow band rather than a round town centre.
Savanna paths
Footpaths and small tracks lead out across the fields. They create a delicate network of lines in the open land around the town.
