Saraswati riverbank
The Saraswati runs past the town in a broad, sandy bed. Its course gives the map a strong natural edge beside the historic quarters.

Siddhapur Map Poster & Print
Siddhapur lies in Patan district in northern Gujarat, on the banks of the Saraswati River. On the map, the river's wide, often dry bed runs along the edge of the town. The dense old quarters sit beside it as a maze of narrow, winding lanes. Newer neighbourhoods and main roads spread outwards across the flat plain, surrounded by farmland.
The town is known for the ruins of the Rudra Mahalaya, a large temple complex built under the Chaulukya (Solanki) rulers. Only fragments of it still stand. Siddhapur is also an important Hindu pilgrimage site linked to rituals for mothers. It is famous, too, for its Dawoodi Bohra quarter, where rows of colourful, richly decorated houses line the streets built in the early twentieth century.
A Siddhapur map poster brings out the contrast between the irregular old town, the more regular streets of the Bohra quarter and the broad river. It is a compact yet detailed composition that reflects centuries of pilgrimage, trade and building in north Gujarat.

Bohra quarter
The Dawoodi Bohra neighbourhood is laid out with orderly lanes lined by ornate mansions. On the map it appears as a neater grid within the older town.
Old town lanes
Around the temple ruins and bazaars, streets are narrow and winding. They create a dense, intricate texture at the heart of the poster.
